Police find missing woman’s car


Wheat Ridge Police are continuing their search for missing Wheat Ridge woman Leann “Annie” Meyer.

Meyer last spoke to a friend over the phone on Feb. 23 and spoke with her employer via text on Feb. 25. She has not been seen or heard from since.

At about 10 p.m. March 13, a citizen called Wheat Ridge Police regarding a vehicle parked in the 3700 block of Marshall Street that matched the description of Meyer’s Toyota Rav4.

Police located the vehicle, which was identified as Meyer’s.

The Rav4 was sealed and transported to the Wheat Ridge Police vehicle storage area. It will be searched and forensically processed. Initial investigation indicated the car was parked in the location it was found for several days.

US Bank is offering an $8,000 reward along with Crime Stoppers reward of $2,000 for information that leads to the location of Meyer.
