Letter: A bad budget

Posted

The Environmental Protection Agency, the State Department, and the Agricultural Department will be hit the hardest by Trump's disastrous budget. It discontinues funding for international climate change programs. How will we protect our planet for future generations if we aren't working to combat climate change? It reduces funding for U.N. peacekeeping. How will we protect ourselves from terrorism if we aren't working for peace? The Agriculture Department's funding will shrink by 21 percent. How will we sustain ourselves without the agricultural sector? It is so important to pay attention to our leaders and to make our voices heard. Call your members of congress to urge them to vote NO on this budget. Tell them that you value the environment, peace among nations and agriculture.
