Thousands of people gathered in downtown Golden for the 31st annual Candlelight Walk on Nov. 30. Attendees enjoyed holiday-themed activities, such as visiting with Santa, and performances; hot cider served by the Golden Lions Club; and caroling as they made their way down Washington Avenue in the cool, and at times wet weather.
At the bottom of the hill, outside of the Golden Visitors Center, 1010 Washington Ave., 6-year-old Annie Woodworth of Golden assisted Golden Mayor Marjorie Sloan with the Light the Lights presentation. A brief fireworks display set off from the Golden Hotel capped off the evening.
