Posted

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Wheat Ridge City Hall, and other area agencies will be supporting Ralston House by planting pinwheel gardens this month. The 2018 fundraising goal for the Ralston House Pinwheel project is $60,000 and the $5 sales of individual pinwheels go to support the services of  Ralston House which provides children, youth and adult survivors of child abuse and their families.

Anyone can participate by making a $5 donation to receive a pinwheel, or go online to www.ralstonhouse.net/child-abuse-prevention-month. The community can also use the hashtag #PassthePinwheel and change their profile pictures to one taken with a pinwheel this month to help raise awareness and funds.
