Wheat Ridge High School Principal Joshua Cooley gave the class of 2018 some advice at the graduation ceremony on May 18 at the Buell Theater.

There are three attributes that high school students have that they can take with them in their futures, he said.

The first, Cooley said, is to “keep an open mind and try new things.”

Second, utilize the lessons learned in high school about communicating with others.

And lastly, Cooley said, “don’t conform. Be uniquely you.”
