As of the 9 p.m. Jefferson County election result update, the Wheat Ridge returs show a tight race in District 1, a strong "no" from the community regarding the Upham rezone, and a majority win for a candidate's second try at running in District 4.

With 99% of ballots counted in Jefferson County, the Wheat Ridge returns show a three-vote difference in the District 1 race, a strong "no" from the community regarding the Upham rezone, and a majority win for a candidate's second try at running in District 4.

Shall the city council's planned rezoning of two properties along Upham Street to allow for higher residential redevelopment go into effect?

No - 62% (6,122 votes)

Yes - 38% (3,752)
