Jeffco cities take a stance on ballot measure 1A

Most of the Jefferson County municipalities have made a decision on whether to support the upcoming ballot measure Jeffco 1A. Here is where they stand:

Arvada:

An Oct. 7 vote passed 6-to-1 for Arvada City Council to support Jeffco 1A. Councilmember John Marriott voted no.

Golden:

Golden City Council unanimously passed a 7-to-0 vote in support of Jeffco 1A on Oct. 10.

Jefferson County Board of Education:

On Oct. 10, all five members of the Jefferson County Board of Education unanimously passed a resolution that supports Jeffco 1A.

Lakewood:

Lakewood City Council on Oct. 14 will discuss putting a resolution in support of Jeffco 1A on the Oct. 28 meeting, which is when a vote on the matter could occur.

Westminster:

Westminster City Council is scheduled to discuss and vote on adopting a resolution in support of Jeffco 1A during its Oct. 14 meeting.

Wheat Ridge:

Wheat Ridge City Council unanimously voted to support Jeffco 1A with an 8-to-0 vote on Sept. 23.
